About Christ First Vote

The biblical foundation for evaluating political candidates

Our Mission

The Church has been asleep at the wheel. For decades, Christians have voted based on party labels, empty promises, and manufactured polarization—while the enemies of Christ systematically captured our institutions, our culture, and our government.

No longer.

This site exists to provide believers with uncompromising, researched, biblically-grounded analysis of political candidates. We do not care about party affiliation. We care about one thing: Does this candidate acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord over every sphere of human government?

The Biblical Foundation

Christ Is King Over All

“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.’” — Matthew 28:18

There is no neutral ground. Every knee will bow—whether willingly or by force. Political office is not separate from Christ’s Lordship. Lawmakers, judges, governors, and presidents are under the authority of Christ whether they acknowledge it or not.

A candidate who claims to follow Christ but governs as if His Kingdom does not exist is a liar or a fool.

The Duty of Christian Governance

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” — Proverbs 14:34

Government exists to punish wrongdoing and praise those who do right (Romans 13:3-4). When a nation legalizes the murder of the unborn, celebrates sexual immorality, mocks justice for cold blooded murder, opens its borders to invaders, and removes God from public life—it is committing national sin.

Christians must vote for candidates who will restrain evil and promote righteousness according to biblical standards.

No Neutrality

“He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters.” — Luke 11:23

You cannot serve both God and mammon. You cannot vote for a candidate who supports abortion-on-demand and claim to follow Christ. You cannot endorse a platform that champions the sexual revolution and call yourself a biblical Christian.

Every vote is a declaration of allegiance.

The Sanctity of Life

“Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.” — Psalm 127:3

The unborn bear God’s image. Those who vote to protect abortion are voting for the murder of_image-bearing image-bearers. There are no exceptions. Rape, incest, threat to the mother—none of these justify the taking of innocent life. A candidate who does not support total abortion abolition fails the test of Christian leadership.

Marriage and Family

“Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” — Genesis 2:24

Marriage is between one man and one woman. Homosexuality, transgenderism, and all sexual immorality are sin (Romans 1:26-32, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11). A candidate who “affirms” these lifestyles is affirming rebellion against God. The state has no authority to redefine what God has instituted.

The Right to Bear Arms

“The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.” — Proverbs 28:1

Self-defense is a natural right granted by God, not by the Constitution. The Second Amendment is a God-given safeguard against tyranny and criminal predation. Christians have a duty to protect their families. Any candidate who supports gun confiscation or registration is aiding the disarming of God’s people.

Immigration and National Identity

“And the LORD your God will clear away all the nations from before you, though you shall not make haste to dispossess them, and no nation shall be able to stand before you.” — Joshua 23:9-10

Nations have borders because God ordained them (Acts 17:26). Open borders are not “biblical hospitality”—they are national suicide. A nation that cannot control its own territory cannot protect its own people. We must secure our borders, deport illegal entrants, and preserve the demographic character of our nation.

Why This Matters Now

America is in collapse. Our institutions are captured. Our culture is degenerating. Our borders are meaningless. Our children are being taught to hate their own heritage.

The two major parties offer different flavors of the same death sentence. The GOP talks a good game on abortion and the Second Amendment but fails to deliver. The Democrats openly wage war on Christianity.

The solution is not a party. The solution is discernment.

Every election, we are told to “hold our nose” and vote for the Republican because “they’re better than the Democrats.” This strategy has failed for fifty years. It is time to demand more. We will not vote for candidates who merely pay lip service to Christian values. We will vote for candidates who will enforce them.

Our Methodology

We score candidates on six topics, each with five questions. Maximum score: 30/30.

  • Candidates scoring 20+ are allies worth supporting
  • Candidates scoring 10-19 require careful scrutiny
  • Candidates scoring below 10 are enemies of Christian civilization

We base every score on primary sources: campaign websites, voting records, public statements, and legislative history. No guessing. No “he seems nice.” Facts only.

The Path Forward

“The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the LORD.” — Proverbs 21:31

Voting is not salvation. It will not redeem America on its own. But it is a tool, and like all tools, it must be used rightly. We are commanded to pray for our leaders (1 Timothy 2:1-2). We are also commanded to submit to governing authorities—but only so long as they do not command us to sin.

When the state commands what God forbids, we must resist (Acts 5:29).

Use this site to identify those who will stand for Christ. Vote for them. Pray for them. And above all, build the Church—because no politician, no law, no constitution can save a people who have abandoned their God.

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” — Ephesians 3:20-21
